Last night the Poole Lighthouse hosted the annual Dorset Business Awards gala, and over 500 attendees representing Dorset’s brightest and most successful businesses were in attendance. LoveLove Films was lucky enough to be one of the thirty businesses nominated for Dorset’s most prestigious awards, with our MD Georgina Hurcombe nominated as Dorset Businesswoman of the Year.

The nomination came after an incredibly busy and successful year for LoveLove Films, which saw Georgina overseeing our expansion into considerably larger and improved offices, the production of several music videos for the international multi-platinum selling musician Joss Stone, the production of several broadcast adverts and more.

The night began at 6:45pm with drinks. Later around 9pm the ceremony itself began. Of the 30 nominees only 10 could win. Georgina was nominated amongst Jo Cruickshanks of Folk digital and Doris and Daisy Shoes’ Maria Leese.

Georgina was announced as the winner, and took to the stage amazed that she had managed to win. This was followed by a moving speech.

Following the ceremony was an after party where Georgina and Maxim (also in attendance) were able to talk to many of the nominees, winners and everyone else who supported the awards. LoveLove Films would like to thank all those involved in hosting the annual Dorset Business Awards gala as a splendid evening was had by all! And congratulations to all other winners and nominees.
