Pop Paper City are recruiting for an array of different positions to expand our team.

We are looking for team members who have enthusiasm, are great team players, with great skills, and are keen to work with us for the duration of the series and for ongoing future series.

All of the roles are based in our Bournemouth office, on the beautiful South Coast.

Senior Animator (3D)

 

Level : Experienced

Duration : Fixed term contracts of approximately 22 months.

Description :

In our studio we strive to create CG character animation of the highest standard. Animators need an excellent understanding of timing, body mechanics, performance and strong posing. Candidates must show organisational skills, and be communicative with those in their team, and across departments.

The Senior Animator will be responsible for taking ownership of larger tasks as well as supporting and developing junior members of the animation team. They will ensure that animation is produced to a high standard and in line with the Director’s vision, making sure all deadlines are adhered to.

Junior Editor

 

Level: Junior

Contract length: Approximately 18 months.

 Description:

The Junior Editor will work beneath the Editor and with the rest of our team to create animatics, offline and online edits and daily assemble cuts of work in progress sequences for review.

 

3D Animator

 

Level : Experienced

Contract Length: Fixed term contract of approximately 18 months.

Description :

In our studio we strive to create CG character animation of the highest standard under tight deadlines. Animators need an excellent understanding of timing, body mechanics, performance and strong posing.
Candidates must show organisational skills, and be communicative with those in their team, and across departments.

 

 

Junior 3D Animator

 

Level : Junior

Contract Length: Fixed term contract of approximately 18 months.

Description :

In our studio we strive to create CG character animation of the highest standard. Animators need an excellent understanding of timing, body mechanics, performance and strong posing. Candidates must show organisational skills, and be communicative with those in their team, and across departments.

  

Compositor

 

Level : Experienced

Contract Length: Fixed term contract of approximately 18 months.

Description :

The Compositor will work alongside our Animation Director to bring to life the final rendered shots.   They will add atmosphere and VFX elements to apply the finishing touches as well as combining live-action footage with CGI backgrounds.

 

Generalist

 

Level : Experienced

Contract Length: Fixed term contract of approximately 18 months.

Description :

The CG Generalist will work alongside our Animation Director in a range of areas of production, assisting in animation, asset creation and compositing. Animating characters, building environments and adding the finishing touches with visual effects.

Candidates must be masters of organisation and time management in order to assist within a wide area of production efficiently and effectively.

The candidate must have a strong passion for animation and a desire to work within a larger team to come together to create something amazing.

How can I submit my portfolio/showreel?
Please refer to the job posting for specific submission requirements. Please attach a link to online showreels or portfolio websites. If we would like to see additional work, you will be contacted.

How long should my showreel be?
Showreels should be up to a maximum of three minutes in length.


Will LoveLove Films contact me regarding the status of my application?
Due to the quantity of submissions received, we are not able to offer individual feedback. However, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
