This year is the 19th Annual Dorset Business Awards sponsored by Barclays. We are excited to announce that LoveLove Films’ very own producer and company director Georgina Hurcombe has been nominated in the semi-finals.

All of the team here at LoveLove Films are very proud of Georgina for being recognised out of the hundreds that applied and see this as incredible achievement already, as the award is open to any professional female business owner in Dorset.

I managed to pull Georgina away from her busy schedule to have a quick chat about being in with the chance to win the award just for you readers!

How did you feel when you found out you are a semi-finalist in Dorset’s Business Woman of the Year Award?

I was absolutely thrilled to find out I was nominated to be a Semi-Finalist in the competition. I am really fortunate to have such a hard-working, creative team I am really proud of what we do here. We are really passionate about every project we do and it is great getting the name out there to the public!

Why did you enter for the Best Business Woman of the Year Award?

I saw it as a fantastic opportunity to gain some exposure on some of the amazing goals the company has achieved this year as well as promoting many of the exciting projects that we have all been working on not only this year but in the past. All of us at LoveLove Films take a lot of pride in what we do and like to share what we do with everyone!

All semi-finalists are expecting a visit from the judges or an invitation to carry out a presentation before the ‘Meet the Finalists’ and sponsored event on the 18th November 2013. Following this a Gala Dinner is to be held at the Lighthouse in Poole on the 28th November 2013.
