POP PAPER CITY 4TH MOST SCREENED PROJECT AT MIPJUNIOR 2019 SCREENINGS LIBRARY

LoveLove Films are thrilled to announce that our exciting new preschool craft adventure series, Pop Paper City, has been confirmed as the 4th most screened project at the MIPJunior 2019 Screenings Library. For its success at this year’s Screenings Library, Pop Paper City received a certificate for ‘Top 10 Most Viewed Projects’ from the director of MIPJunior, Lucy Smith.

MIPJunior is the leading global children’s entertainment industry event. Every year, the world’s most influential buyers, commissioners, producers, development executives and distributors from the children’s television industry gather for the event. MIPJunior’s Screenings Library is the television industry’s largest screening library for children’s content, allowing producers, distributors, and IP owners to submit their projects for viewing by content buyers from around the globe.

Distributed by Aardman, Pop Paper City (52 x 7’ – 3D) follows a group of unique paper friends who live in the capital of a stunning and endlessly peculiar paper world. Each 7-minute episode, the characters in Pop Paper City find new ways to have fun together by crafting new parts of their already impressive world. To encourage the children watching at home to create their own crafts, a live-action human hand interacts with the characters, helping with them with the crafting process and encouraging ‘doing as well as viewing’.

Pop Paper City is currently seeking broadcast partners. To discuss the property, please visit the Aardman Animations booth (P1B77) at MIPCOM 2019 in Cannes.

The MD and Producer of LoveLove Films Georgina Hurcombe says:

“We’re so thrilled by the response to Pop Paper City at MIPJunior this year. The Screenings Library is such a great platform for IP owners to showcase their content, and we’re delighted that so many people have taken an interest in Pop Paper City. If anyone is interested in discussing Pop Paper City, please visit the Aardman Animations booth at MIPCOM 2019; we’d be very pleased to hear from you.”
