LoveLove Films are thrilled to announce that the company and two of our team members have made the shortlist for the Rock Star Awards, run by Rock Recruitment Solutions. The Rock Star Awards began in 2012 as an exciting awards event that celebrates talented young people, and the companies that develop them into Dorset’s Stars of the Future.

The LoveLove Team are over the moon to have been shortlisted for the Company Star award, which commends local companies for hiring, training and promoting young employees to make them into the stars of the future. LoveLove Films was nominated for the award for their “New Talent” placement scheme, which has been growing since LoveLove Films started back in 2010 and now takes on over 30 placement students a year, our work with local schools, colleges and universities, and our commitment to hiring and training our talented young staff members. Not only this, 60% of the LoveLove team is female and we are delighted that our talented girls are being recognised!

Faith, our very versatile Production Coordinator and Camera Woman, has been shortlisted in the Creative Star of the Year category, which rewards creativity, passion and flair in young people. Faith’s recent work as a Director of Photography includes a TV Documentary as well as Commercials. Faith has worked on projects for clients such as Cycling UK, ITN, Heathcote Fabrics, Journey to Bournemouth and “Martin Clunes: Riding Therapy” definitely demonstrates this talent and creativity.

Our Production Assistant, Shannon, is shortlisted for the “Student Star of the Year” Award, which rewards students that go above and beyond during their studies, and commit to starting their careers in the best possible way. During her final year, Shannon has worked with us as a Production Assistant in our office, and as a runner on shoots such as Cycling UK’s Bike Week advert.

Georgina Hurcombe, LoveLove Films’ Managing Director, is immensely proud of her team, and says “We’re so excited to be nominated for the Company Star award, as we love working with young people in the local area, and can’t wait to see the New Talent Scheme grow even more in the coming years. I’m super proud of Faith and Shannon too, who have both put in so much hard work in their careers and deserve to be recognised for it.”
