LoveLove Films’ Year In Review!

LoveLove Films has had a brilliant 2015!

Over the last 12 months we’ve managed to move into ever more new projects, and produced lots of the quality work that we are renowned for. We have produced more videos and animations than ever before!

Some of our new clients have been well known local businesses and institutions, such as the Westover Group, Bournemouth University, Autism Wessex and fellow Dorset Business Award Winners, My Carry Potty; whereas others have been international, such as the US band Far in the Maples.

The productions we have created range from television adverts, to corporate animations and music videos. We’ve had a very healthy mix of all kinds! Our portfolio this year includes two more music videos for the multi-platinum album selling musician Joss Stone; this is a continuation of a working relationship we have had with the artist for three years, and looks set to carry on for many more.

Other returning clients have sought adverts and web videos. These include National Boat Shows, the Independent Schools Examination Board, McCarthy & Stone, TeamJobs, Aspin Interactive and many more.

We’ve also seen huge improvements in our workplace. This year our MD bought and renovated Cinechrome Studios; a 1903 Gospel Hall, which was converted into a production company and studio in the 1950s by the famous band-leader Billy Cotton. In the intervening 60 years it had fallen into a state of disrepair, until we came along and restored it to its former glory. The space is a unique and brilliant environment for creativity and team events. We’re looking to expand our creative hub even further in 2016!

Our team has also grown. This year we’ve recently added three new full-time team members, Bournemouth University Graduates Andie Davies and Liam Andrews, and most recently Dan Willis, who are taking on production and marketing orientated roles. We’re really excited to see the new directions that these team members will take the company in!

If that wasn’t great enough, we’ve also been helping young people gain experience in the creative industry through our immersive placement scheme. This year we’ve taken on 25 placement students, teaching them a multitude of employable skills. If the employability rates of our previous placements are anything to go by, they should go on to have incredible careers. We’ve also recently won a Dorset Business Award in recognition of our hard work engaging with education!

We are incredibly proud to be a thriving Dorset Business and to be contributing to its growing creative industry. All in all, a great 2015 for LoveLove Films and we’re sure 2016 will be even better!
