LoveLove Films are delighted to announce that our Managing Director Georgina Hurcombe has won the Business Owner of the Year award at the prestigious Women in Business awards ran by The Business Magazine

Women in Business sets out to celebrate, encourage and inspire successful and aspiring businesswomen in the UK. Now in its fourth year, Women in Business has grown into more than just an awards event, it has become a campaign that celebrates and spotlights organisations and individuals across all sectors of business who have excelled in their specific business or organisation.

Last year, The Baroness Mone of Mayfair OBE, Lady Michelle Mone of Mayfair spoke at the event. This year saw insightful speeches from Coca-Cola’s Lauren Sayeski, Sage People’s Adam Hale and Founder of The Great Taste Company and Mary Berry’s daughter Annabel Bosher.

The Woman in Business Awards is sponsored by top 50 UK law firm Blake Morgan and the aim of the Business Owner of the Year award is to support entrepreneurial women who have founded and run their own company; women who have shown exceptional abilities in mentoring other women; and/or women who have helped their business achieve significant results in the past year. Only 14% of UK business leaders are women, so the aim of the Women in Business awards is to highlight the incredible work done by these women.

The judges were impressed with how Georgina has grown LoveLove Films from strength to strength and how she is constantly driving the business to new successes whilst working on a range of award-winning and innovative content.

The entire LoveLove Films team are extremely pleased to see Georgina recognised for her hard work in pushing the company forwards.

On winning the award, Georgina Hurcombe said: “I am honoured to have won the Business Owner of the Year 2017 award.
