We are delighted to have been shortlisted for The Rock Star Awards’ Company Star award sponsored by Streetwise HR Ltd. The award commends local companies for hiring, training and promoting young employees to make them into the young stars of the future.
In 2012, Rock Recruitment launched the Rock Star Awards, an exciting awards event celebrating talented young people and the companies that develop them into Dorset’s Stars of the Future.
The Rock Star Awards have grown into a glamorous and exciting evening that honours people aged 16 – 26 and the companies that develop and nurture them.
LoveLove Films are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Company Star award. The award, sponsored by Streetwise HR Ltd, commends local companies for hiring, training and promoting young employees to make them into the young stars of the future.
It means a lot to have been shortlisted for this award! The team is expansive to a wider talent pool through our Dorset Business Award- winning work placement scheme. We take on around 30 work placements each year, who are given immersive experiences of working in the media industry.
In the past we’ve demonstrated our dedication to promoting and nurturing young talent. Our New Talent Placement Scheme has led to large levels of employment, and most of our team we’ve even directly hired from the placement scheme, For instance Sunny Clarke, Faith Glenister, Joanne Salmon and a range of part time and freelance team members.
We ensure that there is a very strong team culture within the business, which is built upon having fun whilst being productive. The team often takes part in activities, such as activity days, barbecues, social evenings and more. A friendly environment is always created, which results in a fresh, hardworking and successful business.
Team members are instilled with a lot of responsibilities from the placements up, which makes team members feel like they have some importance rather than being another cog in the works.
The interview panel stage is just one week away, watch this space for updates!
