LoveLove Films are delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Georgina Hurcombe has made it through to the Venus Awards’ semi-finals in their Entrepreneur of the Year category for the 2^nd year in a row.

Georgina, who was named DCCI Businesswoman of the Year 2013-14, and became a UK Winner of LinkedIn’s ‘Are you ready for tomorrow’ competition, is thrilled to have been named a semi-finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category of the Venus Awards 2017. Georgina was a semi-finalist for the same award last year!

The entire LoveLove Films team are delighted to see Georgina recognised for her hard work in pushing the company forwards. The Entrepreneur of the Year award is sponsored by Ceuta Healthcare and is aimed at women who dare to take risks in business that pay off.

The Venus Awards have been dubbed the “Working Women’s Oscars” and are dedicated to recognising and encouraging local and national businesswomen.

Georgina attended the semi-finalists announcement on the 17^th July along with LoveLove animator Jo Salmon and a mass of other local businesswomen recognised for their hard work, innovation, dedication and talent. The event took place at Sandown Mercedes-Benz in Poole.

“I am super delighted to be through to the semi-finals again this year,” said Georgina, “It is absolutely amazing that the Venus Awards support entrepreneurial women in the local in the area. It was great to get to chat to so many interesting and inspiring women at the semi-finals event! Of course behind any great entrepreneur is a great team – and I’m lucky enough to have such a fantastic team!”

The finalists for the Dorset Venus Awards will be announced on 8^th September, and then the winners’ ceremony and gala dinner will take place on the 2^nd November!
