Following the success of ‘The Love We Had’ music video LoveLove Films produced for Stone’d Records and multi-platinum selling soul artist Joss Stone. LoveLove Films were asked to create an additional ‘Lyric Video’ as bonus content for Joss’ fans to devour.
Our animation team utilised motion graphics to animate the lyrics of ‘The Love We Had’ coupled with the live action Joss Stone performing. We used a blue screen to enable us to composite Joss Stone into the lyric video.
The video beautifully foregrounds and brings forward the powerful lyrics of the song, giving the video a personal feel. Using our animated lyrics moving and reacting alongside Stone’s soulful performance, the video is both visually stunning and emotionally moving. The video was released on Joss Stone’s website on the 15th of November and has been well received especially amongst her faithful fans and has proven to be a nice addition to the original music video. The Love We Had’ lyric video can be found uploaded onto Joss Stone’s official YouTube channel and it has garnered over 50,000 views.
