Bournemouth University – Festival of Learning

The Brief

LoveLove Films were commissioned by Bournemouth University to create a vibrant advert that would convey to a non-student audience the merits of attending their free Festival of Learning event. It was to be a cinema advert, so it had to conform to cinema standards and regulations.

The Process

As there was no broadcast standard footage of the festival, LoveLove Films decided to create a bold 3D animation that utilised existing branding and brand guidelines. The video was produced within a rapid timeframe and was shown in cinema screens to a large audience.

The Result

The resulting video saw the Festival of Learning being advertised to tens of thousands of potential attendees, and was played amongst other cinema trailers. The Festival of Learning event itself was a huge success, and saw many events being fully booked in advance, bringing lots of positive publicity to Bournemouth University.
