Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century – A discussion with founders and experts from the South Coast

Our MD Georgina Hurcombe is delighted to have been asked by Barclays Wealth to join the panel of Entrepreneurship in the 21st century – A discussion with founders and experts from the south coast .
In 2013 Georgina won Barclays Wealth DCCI Businesswomen of the year and has since enjoyed a great relationship with the Barclays attending many events with them.
Other panalists include Matt Macri-Waller, Founder and CEO, Benefex  who will share his experiences of starting and growing a business, including the obstacles that he has experienced along the way. Matt will then join other panellists including Nigel Jump, Professor of Regional Economic Development at Bournemouth University, Nick Fernyhough, Partner, Saffery Champness and Richard Phelps, MD, Accountable Executive for Entrepreneurs at Barclays, to discuss entrepreneurship in the 21st Century.
These experts will be looking at what its like to be an entrepreneur on the South Coast, what challenges founders will face and what more can be done to support the local ecosystem. There will be ample opportunity to join the debate by asking questions to the panellists either during the session, or afterwards over some networking drinks hosted by Craig Jamieson, Regional Director of Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, and  Roger Wareham, Partner at Saffery Champness.

The event takes place on  Wednesday 20 May 2015, 18:00 – 21:00 at the Executive Business Centre (3rd Floor) Bournemouth
